HORTICULTURAL THERAPY
Horticultural therapy, hortitherapy is called therapy of gardens (from Latin hortus - means garden). It goes back to the ancient times - Hippocrates himself claimed that "nature is a remedy in every illness". It has been genetically conditioned for every human being that we positively respond to the natural environment. Spending time close to nature gives a sense of security and peace which helps us to keep our strength and health in good condition.

Hortitherapy is a therapy that uses plants and garden work to improve physical and mental health. Garden classes consist of active work with plants (planting, care work, creating plant compositions) and passive use of the garden (walk, plants observation, resting in the garden ).
The surroundings of nature, being in the garden with all the plants and flowers cause the revival of all the senses. Children who have frequent contact with nature have bigger chance to develop imagination and creativity, increase curiosity, motivation to learn, improve memory and relationships with other children.
